Why most people land here
Half an inch does not sound like much until you put a 2x2 and a 2.5x2.5 side by side on a fridge. The larger square is the first size where a photo of two people still works, where a face reads from the far side of the kitchen, and where the image stops feeling like a thumbnail and starts feeling like a print.
